To prove we are not only capable of handling challenges, but are also responsible in responding to calamities affecting our day to day attitudes. We should discard laziness to find excuses in everything we fail to do.
There is no short-cut to long-term success in life, marvel comics is a legend and a legacy that was build long-time ago on deep concrete foundations and a strong work-ethic. Marvel Comics was not born yesterday and will never become a "quick-fix" government tender project where success is faked and contaminated with corrupt Gupta-Gate sad scandals.
Otherwise, If we do not pen and write down or tell our stories and tales in books, art, photography, songs or poetry form, we leave open our ignorance and vulnerability of truth and sense of responsibility to someone else to do it on our behalf.
What if that "someone else" writes about and distorts the truth, how can we defend or justify or contest their point of view, when we have no evidence or historical fact and archived information to backup or base our argument? Books, movies and music etc is our only credible evidence that speaks for us, on this planet and our contribution to societies and nations across the world to unify our common purpose - i.e. survival of our self-preservation.
How can you condemn or blame Hollywood Marvel Films for telling and entertaining us about "The Black Panther" Wakanda the "African" thriller in our own backyard? Our history has just been redefined, by someone else because we failed to pen down our creativity and foresight to say it first? Thumbs up to Hollywood Marvel Comics for beating us up at our own story-telling game, in our own playground.
Complacency and Laziness Stands Between Us and True Success
We should be ashamed that this was done 50 years ago, what were you doing all this time when this was happening? Africans in Africa as a whole can't claim fame, intangible glory, rights or ownership of anything about a legacy created over their sovereignty if they did not initiate authorship of such historical wealth . Until we can learn to write produce and direct our own material or appreciate to collaborate with those who have technical resources like Hollywood Marvel Films to showcase our greatness of amazing talent and creativity for the written word. We should stop deluding ourselves into believing we are entitled of rights to own anything simply because the concept and theme is "African" and it happened in someone else' imagination and not created by our reality to wish it was our own.
The moral of the story in the release of "The Black Panther" movie is that South African Blacks Folks in particular: "If you live a life of fiction and pretend it is a reality of your truth as told by someone else imagination of you! Then your existence is a disturbing futile silhouette that will not justify your right to think you own the dream and the glory of someones dream simply because you're conveniently placed in it to display their genius. Give credit to a painter who crafted the art to portray your stature with the highest accolade". Learn to take ownership of your chapters of life's occurrences as they occur and stop hauling with excuses why you failed to do anything yourself when you had time to alter history. Be proactive and responsible in taking initiatives that will give credit to your worthy causes, instead of blaming everybody for your own shortcoming.

So! Write books and your own comics so that Hollywood Marvel Films can better compliment and interpret your vision and ambition to mutually benefit both of your inputs, just like the South African "Sarafina" musical phenomena. Why is Lira the USA dream tour so focused and steadfast in finding opportunities in the music business? The reason is quiet simple, these guys have what it takes to challenge convention and mediocre standards in their attempts to raise the stakes in leveling the playing fields. The question you should ask yourself is, can you write a better version of "The Black Panther Next Sequel" to justify your complaints to superimpose your talent?
