Waves Of Turbulent Waters Art

Waves of turbulent waters art, by Isaac Khonjelwayo. Isaac has not exhibited his works before except in his house in Diepkloof Soweto to try attract interested art lovers and buyers, poor attendance made him retreat from his sacred pastime love of drawing. In the meantime he continued to draw until he felt the climate was conducive for him to start exhibiting.

Mr. I. Khonjelwayo contributed a collection of his large paintings as a donation to ANC comrades who skipped the country in 1976 to settle in Botswana. His paintings went on auctioned to raise funds in Botswana’s Russian Embassy. A group of South African ANC and PAC comrades had to skip Botswana from South Africa’s notorious BOSS (Bureau Of State Security) which pursued and hunted all political activists to be brought back to the country to face persecution or torture.

The theme of this album is called “Waves of turbulent waters” these were the early days of my art works from 1975 to late 80’s. Life in South Africa was tough and bitter-sweet even though a majority of political organizations were banned.

I was caught in the cross roads not too sure of my direction in art. Nevertheless I was also interested in woodcarving and sculpture, I wish I had spend enough time on wood carving, but somehow lost interest. These art works represent my unconscious effort to try paint anything that came to my mine.

Now, that the country is free, there is poverty and depression which has lead to the decline in Job Opportunities for our youth. Communities have been displaced since the current ruling party "The ANC", was unable to rule and create jobs. Crime is high, and people and children need HELP and caring. Corruption in government is high and service delivery collapsing.

I would like to take this opportunity to invite ALL Men With Beard to become proactive instruments of change. From Jungle to Paradise: Cultivating a Thriving South Africa for All

Introduction: The metaphors of "jungle" and "garden" aptly capture the current state and desired future of South Africa. A nation brimming with diverse potential, yet entangled in challenges, needs a transformative approach to unlock its true potential. This essay draws inspiration from "From Jungle to Garden: Transforming South Africa's Diversity into Productivity" while tailoring it to a broader vision: creating a "paradise" for every value-adding individual. PAPE, i.e. Portfolio Art Posters Exhibition is one of my initiatives. The purpose is to try and rope in local artists, graphic designers to give them exposure through "Product Journalizing" instead of newspaper advertising. Consequences of level 5 log down in the epic attack of COVID-19 has left many local SMME's, musicians and artists broke and hungry without alternative employment solutions. Naturena P. School Urgent Call for Action: Ensuring Safety and Order in Our Neighborhood

Dear Naturena Primary School, Principal, Parents, JMPD, Councillor, SGB, and School Transport Drivers, I pen this letter with a heavy heart and a sense of urgency, imploring all stakeholders to heed the call for immediate action regarding the safety and well-being of our community, particularly around the vicinity of Corner Vesting and Malta Streets NATURENA near the UJ student residences . For far too long, our neighborhood has been plagued by a myriad of issues that compromise the safety, cleanliness, and tranquility of our surroundings. For years now, concerned residents and parents have been raising alarm bells regarding the chaos and disorder that ensue during peak hours, especially in the mornings and after school hours. The situation has reached a tipping point, with our streets congested by school transport vehicles, children left vulnerable to potential accidents, and our once-pristine gardens littered with refuse and discarded sweets. If You Were In My Shoes - Would'nt ...

Become A Solution And Not A Liability To Exist

Become A Solution And Not A Liability To Exist for your country and society. When you fail to plan, most of the time you plan to fail and wonder why success is becoming a far-fetched dream to be realized. When we live our lives by other peoples’ rules we fail to honor our own commitment to our personal goals and ambitions. This endorses our conviction to fail us, because our values are not in line with our inner dreams and aspirations. When we seek and find our own truths we must believe and act on these truth to live and realize our best intentions. We only have ourselves to blame if the dreams we entertain do not come forth our way because we use and wear someone else's glasses to see the world. Your perception is your window to the world Learn to see the world with your own eyes and glasses, otherwise find better vision i.e. (intuition) to improve your outlook on life to live to the best of your abilities and God given talents. To be the best in your dreams be prepared to shed ...
